heh. Speaking of models though, could you take a look at a couple of mine? I could use some expert opinions on them.

Ok, the below applies to all three pics you uploaded on 9th April.

Yes, the raw renders have a vaguely "toylike" quality to them, but you know what, it doesn't matter. There's a British company called "Armortek" who specialise in making 1/6th (one sixth) scale model tanks, and these renders would pass for photos of one of their unpainted products if they did a Leopard 2. Render modelling just doesn't get much more accurate.

Excuse my english, but I dont quite get what you mean here. So this Armortek uses 3d renderings for their product presentations?

No problem with your English; I was perhaps a little unclear in what I meant.

Armortek make 1/6 scale model tanks from mostly aluminium sheet and CAD machining. Your unskinned renders look as realistic as pictures of the actual tanks as monochrome photgraphs of their unpainted models do. Judge for yourself; here's a [link] to their homepage.

And for me. I only knew about them through their adverts, but I thought that their physical stuff proves just how good your renders actually are.

Tanks or objects shapes like this are quite easy to uv instead of aircrafts :)
